Elmo's Big Lift and Look Book was the first of several oversized board books featuring flaps that open doors, windows, or almost anything to reveal what's underneath.
This was one of those assignments with a skeletal manuscript, so most of it was pretty much made up as I went along. It's an immensely popular book.
My favorite flap is the piano keyboard cover on the last page!
