This was a particularly challenging book to illustrate because there was no manuscript and the book was to have see through windows going all the way through it; some of the windows were vinyl, and others were just holes cut into the cardboard pages. The main thing was to come up with a narrative that somehow took advantage of windows opening through the book, all the while maintaining the view through all the windows showing both forward and backward! It was a lot of fun!
